Hi Dorothy .. so much conflicting info by people who have not read your question properly..
Because it is a panelled door you should use a brush to allow you to get paint into the corners of the panels etc..
A brush also allows you to pick up on the brush surplus paint build up from the same places which if left can cause runs in the paint.
Only use a 4'; sponge gloss roller on a totaly flat surface such as flush doorsIs a roller or brush the best 4 gloss ing a panelled inner door?l?
roller is quicker and wont leave marks, if you use a brush make sure all your brush strokes are in the same direction or it will look messy, if roller use a gloss sleeve, i would personally use a 2-3 inch brushIs a roller or brush the best 4 gloss ing a panelled inner door?l?
I find a roller so much quicker and less messy. Choose a nice little one and glossing is a pleasure - not a worry as it is with a brush.
Good lluck
Brush. Start with the inside of the panels, then do the downs (the sides) then the across's (widths)
Brush, every time.
Brush.
Brush for sure.
