Which house paint is more durable, satin or semi-gloss finish?

I have an old house that likes to chip off every 3 or 4 years?Which house paint is more durable, satin or semi-gloss finish?
either is proper and suitable... they will both clean... your problem sounds as if your undersurface was not clean and primed and therefore could not bond to the new paint you applied... until you properly prepare the house your problems will continue no matter what you use...

goodluckWhich house paint is more durable, satin or semi-gloss finish?
satin and semigloss are finishes. the answer to your question is enamel. as far as finishes satin is a little more forgiven. just remember preparation , priming are the important things . tint the primer to help with the coverage

good luck
